Every year I tackle the holidays the same way. I talk about shopping, I read lists, I hunt online for items… The problem is, I never pull the trigger on a purchase.
Not this year (uh, last year)! This year my plans were set, my presents were ordered, I was done in record time.
Until Christmas morning arrived and one of my gifts was rejected. Not just any gift, my BIG gift. My BIG gift, my great surprise, was shot down with one sentence…. “uh, I probably wouldn’t use it.”
Normally I would freak out. I mean really, really freak out. No, really I would. I have this thing, you see, about Christmas. I am completely obsessive about Christmas. So of course, here I am, sans gift, 10 seconds away from looking like a Grinch, when I thought “What Would Jessica Do?”
So I googled her. Yep, right in front of the entire family, I dragged out my laptop, googled, found her gift recommendation on the amazing tech site Tecca, and purchased the greatest Christmas gift of the year - The Jawbone Jambox all in less than 2 minutes.

What? All this drama for a small piece of technology? Obviously you have never had a Jambox. A Jambox is a small, beautiful speaker system for any bluetooth. This means John has been using it every day, for hours, since it arrived. And when he isn’t using it, he is talking about it.
Jessica, I love that you reside so firmly in the family space and just as equally in the technology category. Thank you for writing your blog, for always sharing the hottest tips and for having great SEO (even on the biggest of holidays)!
And book club begins: blueberry coffee cake, broccoli frittata and these homemade cheddar and scallion biscuits… (Taken with picplz.)
